Child and Youth Health - Programme Support

Our child and youth health team are determined that all Waikato children and young people from birth to 18 reach their key health milestones. The main goal being - at any time with any contact - no child is left behind.

As programme support to the child and youth health service you will work with the clinical team to support our mobile immunisation programme. With a strong focus on database management you will find personal fulfilment in connecting with families who may miss out on important health services.

Our child youth health team is very responsive to the needs of families and providers with a focus on continuous improvement, so you must be someone who is eager to take on new challenges.

To shine in this role, you'll be

  • A confident front-line administrator with database experience
  • Personable, able to communicate with tact and diplomacy
  • Accurate and pay strong attention to the detail.

As some of your time will be spent outside of the office, you will also need a full driver licence.

We manage the community health care of over 400,000 people enrolled with approximately 86 general practices in Tairawhiti, Taranaki, Taupo-Turangi, and the Waikato.

This is a fixed term role until the end of December 2019.
